acb curates and manages travelling exhibitions and advises on all aspects of international exhibition marketing from all fields of art.
The organisation was founded by Suzanne Greub in 1984 and is located at the heart of the city of Basel. In view of acb’s extensive experience in the field of exhibition creation and management, and a solid base of contacts in museums around the world, we are able to manage our exhibitions efficiently and economically at the highest level.
The core of acb’s activities consists of creating exhibition ideas and concepts, as well as realizing and managing these exhibitions and placing them in distinguished museums internationally. All of our exhibitions are accompanied by a scholarly catalogue, also edited and produced by acb. The acb collaborates with leading museums in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia. The high standard of the acb programme is reflected in individual exhibitions for renowned museums and private collectors.
We are delighted to announce that in 2014 acb has been formally declared as a nonprofit organisation. While our practice for many years already, we have now been able to include this vital part of our mission in our organisation statutes and have officially been granted nonprofit status.
As a member of ICOM, AAM and Deutscher Museumsbund acb aims to fulfill the highest international museums standards for exhibitions.
